Started by Heinrich Wang in 1987, the "Lost Wax Casting", which often demands forty plus intricate steps in the process, creates a characteristic unique of modern Chinese glass art. Spread like wild fire, this new trend of crystal glass (Liuli is the ancient Chinese term for glass) making whipped up a storm from Taiwan to Mainland China and soon furnaces lit up in frenzy as everybody was caught up with the rush of crystal glass making.
In 1994, Y.S. Wang and Heinrich Wang joined hands and established [tittot...], and followed by [tittot Glass Art Museum] later in 1999. They had two goals in common: to gain a position on the international stage with an product of distinction for exquisite style, to nurture new generation of glass artist in Taiwan and expands the foundation of glass culture, and to "open the door to the world of Chinese Glass Art".
Today, there are more than 80 specialized counters where one can enjoy the light and glory of tittot's Glass Art / Liuli Art throughout Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
