1. Is the submission due date a deadline for receipt
of materials in Taiwan, or can our package be postmarked by
the due date (post marked date)?
It is better to receive the submission before the deadline
(including this day) and we plan to let the jury begin reviewing
the requirements from Aug 2. If you really have some reason
that you can not let the requirements arrive in Taipei before
July 30, please must let the requirements arrive in Taipei before
Aug 3 (including this day).
2. Can I deliver the requirements by email?
It is better to send the submission requirements by the airmail
and you can control the submission quality as you want.
3. What is the specific size of the site?
The length of the north side of the site is 62.3248m. The length
of the west side is 100m. The south side is 37m, and the east
side is 100.085m.

4. What is the total of the area to be built in square metres?
The site area is 5048 square meters according the government
official record. Its building coverage ratio is 50%. Its floor
raea ratio (total floor area divided by property area) is 240%.
So the total area to be built is 12,115 square meters.
5. Are the areas allocated for the program gross sq.meters or
net sq.meters?
The site is net 5,048 square meters. The total building floor
area is 12,115 square meters on this site. Beside, we have basic
interior arrangement plan. It is planned on the operational
functions by ourselves . The purpose is to let the participant
know the major operations of the museum. It can be discussed
and changed after the discussion of the designer and the sponsor.
And we haven't taken the public space and others into considerations.
By the way, the limitation of the total building floor is 12,115
square meters.
6. Whether the US$8.2M budget is to cover the building only
or whether this would include interior fit-out also ?
The US$8.2M budget is the building only and this would not
include interior fit out. This can be discussed and the limitation
ceiling of the budget is up to 20% of US$ 8.2M.
